The release of the TGA’s interim decisions from the June 2011 meeting of the Advisory Committee on Medicines Scheduling (ACMS), revealed that the scheduling of five substances: carbetapentane, guaiphenesin, ipecacuanha, phenylephrine and senega, used in unscheduled cold and flu medications, would remain unchanged.
